This is outdated, but I did surprise Scott with a trip to Santa Barbara that he really seemed to enjoy, for his birthday back in Oct. He guessed where we were going the night before, but it's okay. He had a lot of fun, we went kayaking and took the train and stayed in a cute hotel, and even in Jan he still talks about it. :)
